Demonic Mario Species

In preparation for Halloween (or more accurately: by chance and creepy sketches), I started drawing things as if reflected by a twisted mirror.

Species depicted: Yoshi, Boo (with mini-demons), Chomp (with mini chomps), Toad, and Goomba.

The demonic beast Yoshi "Glutti" has a worse appetite than its former self. Constantly hungry, it will eat and eat and eat even when its stomach is full to the point of bursting. And if its stomach bursts, it will eat what comes out. If anyone attempts to ride it, the Glutti will gobble them up as well.

The demonic being Boo "Specter" has developed actual hands and more eyes. No longer bashful, it will stare you right in the face as it gouges out your heart. Lesser variants are hands with eyes, floating eyeballs, and detached mouths.

The demonic beast Chomp "Fang" is slightly smarter than its former self. It has developed fangs and if having caught a whiff of blood, Fang will hound its source until it consumes every last drop and speck of meat.

The demonic being Toad "Stool" has withered into a weak stock. Its spores are highly toxic but it can barely move. If broken, a new head will sprout. If its spores settle on a living body, the spores will develop into poison mushrooms.

The demonic beast Goomba "Fungal" has rooted where it last stood and developed many more fangs than it originally had. Wild and stupid, it will lash out at anything that is within its surprisingly long reach.
